Schedule

7:30-10:00am	Weigh-in & registration - Health papers required for out-of-state cattle only.     $25 entry fee per head.
10:00-11:00am	Judging Contest - HELD IN HENRY COUNTY ONLY
10:00-11:00am	Preparation time - Wood, Williams and Fulton Counties
10:00-Noon	Preparation time - Henry County
11:00am	Showmanship classes begin - Wood, Williams and Fulton Counties
12:00pm (Noon)	Showmanship classes begin - Henry County

Heifers and steers show together in showmanship classes

There will be three showmanship classes with ages as of Jan 1, 2010.  Groups will be divided as equally as possible.  To be determined by ages on sign-in sheets.  Winners in each category will receive awards.

Heifer classes begin immediately following the final showmanship class.  Steer classes to follow naming of the Grand Champion Overall Heifer.

Heifer Classes
Heifer classes will be divided by weight.  Classes will be posted in the barn prior to the start of showmanship.  Upon completion of the class judging, 1st and 2nd place heifers will enter the show arena for determination of the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Heifers.

Steer Classes
Steer classes will follow the selection of the Grand and Reserve Champion Overall Heifer.  Steer classes will be divided by weight.  Classes will be posted in the barn prior to the start of showmanship.  Upon completion of the class judging, 1st and 2nd place steers will enter the show arena for determination of the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Steers.

Rules and Regulations
The Black Swamp Preview Shows are sponsored by Henry County, Williams County, Wood County and Fulton County Beef Producers who are affiliates of The Ohio Cattlemen's Association.  Tampering and/or misrepresentation as to breeding age, ownership and any other irregularity in showing will be considered fraud and deception.  Any premiums, trophies, awards or money won by such an exhibitor will be withheld.  Any artificial means of removing or remedying the physical defects or confirmation in exhibition cattle, such as cutting ties, or lifting and filling under the skin will be considered fraud and deception.  The use of an artificial tail head or altering the natural color of a beef animal above the knees and/or hocks shall be considered fraud and deception.
